The AIMS Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Mathematical Sciences is an international forum dedicated to advances at the intersection of mathematics, artificial intelligence, computer science, and computational sciences. The conference brings together researchers from academia, industry, and government to exchange ideas, present recent results, and foster new collaborations.
The 2027 edition features a special theme on National Knowledge Systems and the Amantia Project. Recent advances in artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling, knowledge representation, and data science have created new opportunities for developing integrated knowledge infrastructures that support research, education, cultural heritage, innovation, and public policy.
The conference aims to explore the mathematical foundations, computational methods, and software technologies underlying such systems, while introducing the Amantia Project as a long-term research initiative dedicated to the development of AI-powered national knowledge infrastructure.
Knowledge has traditionally been distributed across universities, research institutes, libraries, archives, museums, government agencies, and industrial research laboratories. Artificial intelligence now provides new tools for connecting these resources into coherent, searchable, and continuously evolving knowledge systems.
The Amantia Project investigates the mathematical and computational foundations required to build such systems. Its scope includes knowledge representation, mathematical databases, scientific repositories, digital libraries, semantic technologies, AI-assisted discovery, and intelligent software platforms that facilitate the creation, organization, and dissemination of knowledge.
The project is inherently interdisciplinary, bringing together mathematics, computer science, artificial intelligence, information science, and software engineering to address both theoretical questions and practical implementation challenges.
The conference welcomes original contributions in all areas of Artificial Intelligence and Mathematical Sciences, including, but not limited to:
Machine Learning
Deep Learning

The Amantia Project is a research initiative dedicated to the development of AI-powered knowledge infrastructure. It brings together methods from artificial intelligence, mathematics, data science, and software engineering to investigate new approaches for organizing, integrating, and analyzing scientific, educational, historical, and cultural knowledge.
The project serves as a collaborative framework for research on knowledge representation, mathematical databases, intelligent information systems, and AI-assisted scientific discovery. It also provides an open platform for the development of software, datasets, and computational tools that support future research in this area.
The name Amantia is inspired by the ancient city of Amantia in southern Albania, reflecting a connection between the country's historical heritage and its future scientific and technological development.
The conference seeks to:
Present recent advances in Artificial Intelligence and Mathematical Sciences.
Promote research on AI-powered knowledge systems.
Foster collaboration between mathematicians, computer scientists, and AI researchers.
Introduce new mathematical and computational approaches to knowledge representation and management.
Present current developments of the Amantia Project and encourage international participation in its research activities.
